Can't stop eating when i am stress?

i am so stressed out, and i can't stop eating. i need help! how can i stop eating if i am stressed out?
Answer:
You need to give yourself an alternative behaviour and learn to control your stress levels. Join a gym, yoga or pilates class, exercise will kick in the adrenalin to release the feel good chemicals in the brain and lower stress levels. If money is an issue walk for 15 mins turn around and walk back for 15 mins. What happens is that you are only taking 30 mins for exercise a day however, the distance increases as your fitness level rises.
Also, work out what makes you stressed out and try to keep these things to a minimum. Have only healthy snacks available, celery, carrot, capsicum etc., washed and ready to eat will not only satisfy the 'eating' it will supply you with fibre, vitamins etc., that will help your body to cope with stress. Chewing gum is another way to get satisfaction of chewing with little or no calories.
Emotional eating is one of the biggest problems to overcome if food was used to 'make us feel better' when we were kids.
There are heaps of books out there on this subject, check them out in the library.
Good luck.
Join the club. I haven't found the answer to that question with.
Well you could figure out why your stressed and fix that. Therefore you could stop eating because you wouldn't be stressed anymore.
well i think we all have the same problem like you but some people just don't know when to stop.. before this when I'm so stress up, i consult food for pleasure and comfort. i thought it would really help me but at the end my health is on the risk. starting from that i turn to music when I'm stress up, music can relate us in some way or another. I'll sing along and sing my heart out and don't have any contact with anyone at that moment because sometimes we just need some space and time for our self.
so good luck.
don't ever give up.
keep holding on.
go out and walk
chew on some gun , it helps the stress and curbs you appetite
Thats normal, everyone does.
