depressed adolescent,who has recently ecaped the cluches of the illness. now is when i meet a girl i'm into, but i'm about to leave school and shes staying (i've got my Alevels and she's in the year below). my mates tell me to leave it cos "the last thing i need is to mess anything up at this point (especially as i hav jst recovered)".
but i like her. so what do i do; do as i feel and get close to her, or take my friends' advice...

Take your own advise and see where it goes. There are ways to stay in touch even if you are done with school. Trust me, there is life after school.
Well, sometimes along distance relationship doesn't work. It makes things harder. , but say if you were going to college and she was just about to be in your college than i say go for it. but if you are moving very far away than, try being friends first than see what happens from there if nothing happens than it wasn't meant to be.
