How long would it take to die from carbon monoxide if someone started their cavalier in their grauge and let it run? Also I've read that such suicide attempts can end with the carbon monoxide igniting and exploding.
Would this be very likely with a cavalier? I've been thinking about killing myself this way but i don't want anything to happen to my parents house.

Why would you want to kill yourself? You've got your whole life ahead of you. Perhaps you should talk to someone who could help you work this out, a counsellor, a doctor, a teacher. If you're thinking about this, I think you've got something to worry about.
Carbon Monoxide is a silent killer. You see no smoke or smell anything. I saw a guy who had died from this in his car and you know what there was no dignity to his death. He was frozen in the position which he had died and so they had to carry him out this way.
Personally I think you should go on the web and look up a mental health association on suicide so that you can get ideas on how to help yourself not think of such things.
you can pretty much guarantee to blow up the house. There are lots of easier ways to kill yourself. If you really feel like your life ain't worth living, then why don't you join the army, go to Iraq and die for a cause and make your parents proud of yourself. Rather than killing yourself and put them in shame.
Please seek professional help before u do something drastic. Between having an intact house and a child, your life is more important than a possession. Losing a house can be replaced but replacing you can NEVER happen.Talk to someone.

Carbon Monoxide is not the answer sweetie! It can't be that bad can it. If you need a shoulder..I"M HERE! How can you not want to harm your parents' house but you would actually put them thru the agony of losing a child that I'm sure they love with everything in them. yeah, it's not a pretty death. a friend of mine in high school committed suicide this way. you need to tell someone how you are feeling and if you are in the planning stage of suicide then you need help right away. call 911 if you need to or tell your parents or a friend or go to the er. i'm very worried and concerned about you and what you've posted here. please don't kill yourself. it's horrible for those that are left behind. we wonder what we could have done to prevent this or what we did to contribute to it. we nag ourselves with questions constantly and never quite get over the loss as you would when someone dies of natural causes.
