Can smoking 1 cigarette a day turn into a physical dependency (addiction)?

I'm 21 and have been doing this since I was 18 will no ill effects.
Answer:
i think youre answer is in your question. Cigarette Tobacco is highly addictive and even if you smoke it once aa day, there is a reason why youve been smoking it once a day for about 3 years. Maybe you do not crave more than one cigarette or feel as though you are not dependent on it, but it has evolved into your daily routine which signifies some form of dependency.
I personally would quit while you are ahead. If you do not want to get overally addicted and you do one cigarette a day, now would be the best time to just put it down and save your lungs...
yes it can. usually you will start to use more and more over time.
Only if you start smoking more cigarettes. If you only smoke one cigarette per day and use your self control not to smoke more even if you have cravings, you probably won't find yourself having trouble quitting. Even one cigarette per day isn't good for you though.
Yes. And just because you haven't seen effects yet doesn't mean they aren't there.
The thing is. the nicotine in the cigarette will keep you hooked. Even though you seem to have a little control over your smoking, eventually, you'll want more and more and you'll probably have icky teeth and die of lung cancer. If I were you, I'd just stop smoking.
In order to avoid addiction, the best way is to stop smoking. I don't think smoking will help you, but instead it may hurt your health in the long run. God loves you, and you are precious to Him. He gave you a wonderful body to last you for life. Do not abuse it. Jesus died on the Cross to redeem us and qualifying us to Heaven. Heaven is wonderful beyond descriptions, eternal without end. Never, never, miss Heaven for anything of this troubled world. Best wishes!
NOT YET but YES it will hurt you take it from a long time smoker. You don't feel anything different at first. But your habit will lead to more and more sooner or later. Your lungs get a little blacker every year. Please stop NOW while you still can and young enough for your body to repair itself.
