Can you answer this question about asperger child?

If you do all the necessery thropies for a 3 year old boy whit mild asperger and he become ok will he have new problems in adult hood?
Answer:
He might ,my son ASPERGER sydrome was real hard when he was younger ,,,but as he got older hes now 9 hes so much better! im so suprized, and proud of him want to im me or email me we can talk we can relate. im here:)
Well, he's never going to be without asperger's - it's a form of autism, and will be with him for life.

He'll most likely have a more difficult time than most people, but it shouldn't be too bad-especially if it is only mild. In adult hood, people most likely wont even notice that he has it, because by then he'll have learned how to deal with having it.

His biggest problems might be in having relationships with others, but even that should be alright as long as the person he's with understands that he has asperger's, and doesn't mind being a little more patient with him; as well as giving him a bit of space now and then, as long as he knows that he/she will be coming back (this goes for friendships as well as romantic relationships).

It wont be 'ok' for him, but it also wont be the worst thing ever.
My son is 16, things are much easier with him now, than they were when he was younger. But, yes, new problems can pop up. Life is about change. We just roll with it. He is a straight A student, and a great kid. I thank God that it is only Asperger's that we deal with. it has almost been a blessing in disguise.
His biggest problems now are friends...but even they are not that big. good luck, God Bless.
He will never be cured of aspergers. Its genetic. Therapy is used to help him learn to fit in better and to ACT like a neurotypical. As an adult, depending on how well adjusted he is, he might buck the odds and have children of his own. However, because its genetic, there is a 25% chance that his children will also get the disease.
I work with children with aspergers/autisim and I notice that the older the children are, the better functioning they get. A lot of times other people wouldnt be able to tell if a child has aspergers if its a mild case. I agree that the only thing that affect him when he's older is his relationships. I.E I know of a 13 yr old boy with mild aspergers and while he has friends, he would much rather talk to adults then children his own age.
